Rona has in excess of 30 years systems development experience and has worked on various
platforms and in a wide range of business sectors, e.g. banking, insurance, stock
broking, mining, motor industry, logistics and education. She started her career
in 1982 at the University of Western Cape as a mainframe programmer before moving
to client server based systems where she worked for the Gencor Group Information
systems where she developed variety of systems for the mining industry. She went
on to develop a Securities system for the International Bank of Johannesburg while
working for Limon in 1998. She also gained valuable experience at Liberty Life, Automate
and Dovetail . She worked as a senior developer on Tasman (a Treasury Management
System developed by Riskflow) and later on EB (an Employee Benefits System developed
by MIP). While looking to explore new horizons and embracing new challenges, Rona
seized the opportunity to become a co-
Hoffie started his career in banking in the marketing information department of the
then Saambou Building Society in 1985. He became involved in Asset & Liability management
and later joined the SPL Banking division where he worked on ALMAN, an asset & liability
system, and IFS, an interest rate forecasting system. He then started the TASMAN
treasury administration system in 1991. Hoffie was involved in various treasury projects
from 1996 to 1998 in Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines while he was based
in Malaysia.
In 2003 he become operational director of Riskflow Technologies where he was responsible
for the development and implementations of the Tasman and Alman systems in various
